Here is a great source. http://www.fortepiano@fortepiano.com/ which is where you can purchase various supplies. They're sometimes hard to reach by phone, but are good to work with. If you've never make hitch pin loops with yellow or red brass you may want to order pre-made strings. If you are breaking strings at the loop it generally indicates bad loop making. Breaks in other places might mean too high tension for that gauge, or improper stringing techniques, etc. Good luck! Jim Busby RPT MPT
