What an idea, but surely that has been contemplated and tried and I
would like to see the records.
If you mean a cove in the bridge then that would suggest another
vibrating segment of the string.  As in another duplex?  : )  By the
way,
 how did the piano bridge get to be as wide as it is? ?
All other musical instrument bridges seem to have a one point contact
design.
