"Temporary" voicing

Perhaps you could get in touch personally with the donors and explain that, 
in the best interests of the integrity of the new instrument, the moves and 
voicing/revoicing would compromise their investment in such a fine 
instrument.  Explain that it is voiced for the hall for which it was given, 
etc., etc., etc.

Explain to artist-in-residence that he/she is temporary, but the piano is 
not. <g>

Caveat: This advice void if concert is dedicatory/inaugural for that 
instrument...
