inharmonicity of hex-core wire

I don't know about that dead end street, I have my own to
worry about but...

I have never liked hex cores because I feel the termination
is poor at best and could be digging slots in agraffes that
may be regretted later.

I would use a mix of metric and American cores or wires to
solve small problems of a big piano but on little pianos
small inconsistancies will not likely be heard because of
other deficiencies of the piano.

I just don't like them new fangled thangs.

And I detest "universals" because they never sound right. 
Never!

Just my opinion you know.
