Hi Avery,
                 I wonder if this a clue to the keybed recieving some kind
of trama,  rammed into a door frame, Institutions being what they are.
Check under the keybed for security to the arms. Can't remember if the
frame of this model is secured to the plate, but that would be another
thing to check.
