Sizing Guide Rail Bushings

Removal of guide bushings, we use warm soapy water, soak and scrub the
rail,  leave for about 20min and all the bushings practically fall out with
a light push
 Put the end of a hammer shank in a pencil sharpener and sharpen to a
point, it makes it easy, without bruising and wood.  Leave the rail over
night to dry before bushing.
The rails end up looking like new.
 
PS We have never had one warp or twist.
