The problem with using a punch and a hamm,er is that the lead can get tilted and with more force it can split the key. Ask me how I know this sometime. I also use an arbor press )more force possible) to press the leads back into the new holes. Driving them also can split keys. > three sets of Yamaha keys I have from Ivorite replacement repairs.
