I use a block with a hole slightly larger the biggest key lead leading to a box. I use a hammer and a small diameter punch/ 1/8" to push through on the blind side of Steinway keys. This leaves a small hole. I am making plugs for the holes with the three sets of Yamaha keys I have from Ivorite replacement repairs.
