List, Some years ago I did contract work at West Chester State University in PA. There were two Mason & Hamlin 50" uprights in a practice room that were maintained a 1/4 tone apart. Students who wished to work on the piece could do so at any time. I do not remember for sure, but I think if the work was to be performed they rolled the uprights on stage. Real easy setup!
