Tom,
Your pictures take me nowhere, but I'm here to say I'm a fan of many old Mehlin pianos. I had an old upright years ago that I finally sold for 3500, beautiful cabinet and a fantastic piano. I have a client with a 6' grand from the teens that needs rebuilding, a wonderful instrument.

LIst,
Something you don't see everyday.
Images from a Mehlin 5'2" grand piano # 43936 C.1935
Sweeping cutoff in Bass ,floating board behind the very long cantilevered bass bridge.3 1/2" backscale length.
Ribs are 1" tall at the rim and taper to 1/4" in the middle. Rib width 1 1/8" .
No agraffes
Piano is in fair condition but still has better tone than one would expect for it's age-condition and tunes well.
