  Hello-

  What is recommended for the cleaning of 8-10 bass strings that have slight dark discoloration?

  These strings are on a new piano and the spots/smudges are small/short in length- 
  at present this is only a visual distraction.

  Should I order new replacement strings or are there methods to clean these strings.
