My bet is the block to plate flange fit was not solid and kept shifting. Been there done that. In my case I ixed the issue with hard wood shims wedged up between the plate flange and the block. It took about four hours to get it where I could walk away. When I pulled up the treble (not too much), it went way sharp afterwards. I went over it again to lower the pitch and it went way flat. Pulled up...crept sharp but not as much. After the third or fourth pass thru the treble, the piano was good enough. I charged for the time. Never heard back from them...problem solved. Maybe that's why it was donated. -- Regards, Jon Page -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
