It depends on what you are "..filling interstices..." with! You could fill
dem interstices with liquid styrofoam and it would give you a whole
different "transmissibility", (if that's even a word<G>). Methinks ya need
to do some experimenting on some of the lesser "fodder" in you storage unit
and report back with results. (Kinda like what a few of us have done.<G>)
