It was too long, and squared off with a leather ring on the end. 
Uncomfortable for paring, and I don't intend to be whacking it with a 
hammer, so I put on the short round end handle that feels much better in 
my hand. That's all. The flat end whacker handle is otherwise a fine 
handle. I'll just use it on something else.

That'll be coming up soon. It's more of a bench chisel than a paring 
chisel, and I want to thin it down some anyway.
