Well Steve, you simply mount the TFT sensors between the front rail and the balance rail on the action frame. The fingers should be preloaded to about 3 to 5 mm. This is accomplished by tipping the rail ......... adding shims (balance rail punchings) to get the desired preload (initial movement or compression of the finger). Hooking the inter connecting cables should be easy enough to figure out. They only go together one way. Mount the connection interface on the hammer rail just above c88 or as near as possible.

The record board mounts on the inside of the rail cover. There’s already holes to mount it to. The cables from above the keybed are passed through the slot cut for the solenoid rail. There’s been some cases where I’ve had to drill a hole big enough to pass the cable ends through the belly rail .......... from memory, a seven eigths inch spoon bit ........ maybe smaller. It’s late and I don’t remember when I last did this.

If you go on the OTHER forum and search for search terms record strip or TFT you might find the images I posted there just for this purpose.

Magic Star came out with a really nice product that does the same thing. It was being marketed by PDS the last time I did one of these and the instructions came with it. They were somewhat written to be seen and read by experienced installers I think.
