Well, the hole in the wood still gets smaller when it dries, but the 
bushing cloth gets thinner too and more than offsets the shrinking hole. 
so yes, more humidity=tighter centers.

The Mezzo Thermoneal Stabilizer did it, but the tonal stability is 
unsurpassed - I bet.
