Two things Duaine One, as I mentioned before, the questions you asked on this list should be asked on a computer based chat room. Even though there are some members of this list who have knowledge of computers and systems, etc, they are by no mean experts. Second. A company has certain rules by which they go by regarding giving tech support. Those rules are there for a purpose, (I won't try to speculate on why they have those rules,). Never the less, the rules, I am sure, are there for a purpose. We all have to abide by those rules. We might not like them, but that's our problem, not the company's. What you're trying to do is pressure the company into changing it's rules by hitting them where it hurts, the bottom line, And you're trying to do that by asking a couple of piano technicians to boycott the company. Even if all of us would do that, do you rally think that 300 or people not buying Dell products is going to force the company to change it's rules? Get a grip, Duaine.
