>> Looking for an efficient way to cut down the key frame rests for the
stack feet and lowerthe stack by about 1/8"+. Any suggestions?
Greetings,
A small backsaw with a stop clamped along the blade 1/8" from the
edge of the tooth will let you make depth guide cuts, (just like when
setting bearing). Then just use that sharp chisel. The treble end
doesn't allow this, so if you need a guide there, use a small Forstner
bit. (now that I think about, a Forstner in a drill press might be the
best way to lower all the cleats!).
