Not only that, but doesn't the earth spin faster closer to the equator? So don't we have to take that into consideration, too?

Now wait just a cotton-pickin' minute. What's sea level got to do with it? It would be the same at sea level, a mountain top, outer space or on Mars. Or am I just missing something here...... :-0
