David, I use it to re-install things that have been glued with hide glue initially. In the field hammer head reglue. (trick: heat the glue, in it's container, (small), in a cup of very hot water...makes the glue set up faster.<G>) Regluing/bolting/clamping separated pinblocks on uprights. Not to be used for felt, as it's too thin and penetrates too much. I'm sure there are other applications, just can't think of them right now. (Only into my first cup of coffee<G>) Joe > [Original Message] > From: <davidweiss at embarqmail.com> > To: <joegarrett at earthlink.net>; <pianotech at ptg.org> > Date: 3/21/2012 6:49:39 AM > Subject: Re: [pianotech] evil glue > > "Please use hot or cold hide glue." > I've never used cold hide glue.
