[pianotech] National convention as a member benifit

Hi Dale,
The proper protocol is to write it up as a bylaws proposal, discuss it with
your chapter members, and after convincing/compromising/editing among your
members, take a vote on sending it to the bylaws committee. They then get
to evaluate it, as does the PTG Board.
Be prepared to prove your concept with more than enthusiastic assertions
(i.e. crunch the numbers and be ready to explain them in detail).
After all of that (and, importantly, within the appropriate deadlines) the
proposal will come up before Council.
The proper venue for discussing this item, aside from the above mentioned
processes, is the PTG-L list.
