[pianotech] Seize the deal

Hi, Rick:
I don't know what prices are in your area, but if you can afford to do
that to get some new customers, I guess that's your choice. My
calculation is that my mileage to get to my customer's house and back is
average about 40 miles. By IRS rules (IRS Rules??!) that would become
$20 in expenses just to walk in the door. You may be able to negotiate
a fair discount, which would bring lots of responses hopefully. I'd let
them know that this is a one-time deal, and maybe they'll become
regulars. Who knows?

But, at what cost and what kind of customer? Probably never see them again for many-a-year, until you run another half-off sale. I decided it wasn't worth doing. Maybe you're desperate, and you don't mind giving yourself away for less.
