Removing the spinet action may be cumbersom, but it may be necessary so you can reach the parts that need attention. Using a lube on the slow parts may give a temporary fix but it will not solve the problem. Only by making sure the proper amount of friction is present and properly regulating of the parts will provide the desired result. Too often lube just gunks things up.
