Hi Robert,
If you're using Safari, go up to the the top banner where it says "Safari".
Put your mouse cursor on that and you'll have a tab that includes "Empty
Cache". Click it. In Chrome there's one for "Clear Browsing Data."
You should also at least use "Disk Utility" to repair permissions. Much
better to download the disk utliity "Onyx" (or others) to clear all the
detritus out on a regular basis.
