I have had good luck at offering a special: $50 off on piano tuning and cleaning. If I arrive and the piano is very flat, I offer the customer the oppertunity to tune it twice for a better job. If they decline, then I just tune the piano the best I can and figure, that is the place they are in. Also: I have been doing it long enough that, with one tuning I certainly improve the piano and the customer of that calabor is happy to get their piano tuned and cleaned.
