Horror pretty well describes the reaction I get to using hot hide glue.

I don't care to, thanks, which is why I DIDN'T MENTION SOUNDBOARDS with 
hide glue. Did I?

And as I mentioned, I haven't had a hammer joint failure with hot hide 
in over 30 years.
