Hi Don, Thanks for the idea. I've actually thought about taking a screw from another leg, but was worried about supporting the piano. Unfortunately I don't have a saw horse to put under the key bed for support just in case it was needed. I never want to take chances. Tracing the screw may be a challenge. Taking it to a hardware store might be possible. I live right down the street from one, the kind you mentioned except no old guy smoking out back lol You mentioned leather in a screw hole. I've also heard of using copper winding from a bass string in a stripped hole. Have you heard of that technique? What type of leather should I buy? Are we talking about the buck skin that comes in that sheet that one can cut in strips? Thanks again Don.
