[pianotech] cutting steel

It certainly is interesting, but I'm left wondering what the actual size
and speed were.

Years ago, I ran a milling machine in a factory that manufactured punch and
shear machines. When I cut steel (everything from cold-rolled [mild] to HSS
["tool steel"] and occasionally stainless) we ran coolant over any HSS
cutter, or it would get very hot and very dull (resulting in even hotter)
very quickly.
