[pianotech] New List

Piano World has what they call a "naughty chair." If someone "crosses the
line" according to the rules of PW, say, they are swearing, harassing
people, things of that nature just as an example, then they ban them for a
certain period of time by not allowing them access to the PW site. They
have a way of doing that. If that person does it again, they ban them for a
month or so. If it continues, it will turn into a permanent ban. Not sure
how they do it but, I've seen it done several different times since I've
been a member in there.

There are a number of non-members who frequent the Pianotech List and
conduct themselves with decorum. Should they be punished for the sins of
one?

We occasionally have PTG members who behave badly towards one another on
this forum. Does that mean that no members should be allowed to access the
Forum?

" maybe he will go away"

My Chiropractor has a sign in his office that says< "the 5 most dangerous
words to say are, "Maybe it will go away" Perhaps the lists, however put
together should limit to members only?? Just a thought.... My back aches
from this whole thing!!
