I have a client who has inherited a mahogany satin 1917 Steinway M and wishes to sell it. The most damage to the piano is on its lid and front case corners. The legs are remarkably untouched. Scratches and dings for the most part. Overall rather good case condition, especially considering the age. The piano has been maintained and is in decent working order and tune. There are a few items, such as a sticking A0 key/damper, several bass sostenuto tabs not catching that will need to be dealt with. I've reviewed Fine's valuation suggestions and would appreciate any actual market pricing advice one might feel free to offer. Oh, and yes, this piano is in Laredo Texas and is actively for-sale.
