Hi Paul and DP? forgot what DP stands for. :-) I checked, it's 234731. The atlas says 1973, but the piano seemed older, or maybe the dust and dirt cob webs and dog hair fooled me. lol. Did I steer the guy who was possibly interested in it in the wrong direction by saying it would be worth refurbishing since it's a Chickering? I based this on the fact that a. the atlas has been wrong before, and b. the fact that this womans mother inlaw played it when she, the mother in law was young. I did tell him he could probably get something newer if he didn't want to put the money into this one. If it is an Aeolian product, I say no to refurbishing. Would you also?

Paul, I didn't act on this new forum because it seemed confusing. I thought it was a different list all together, and tha tI'd be receiving two list e-mails. I can't keep up with this one :-) How is it different and if it is the same list, how do I get the nw form?

thanks again for your help.
Marshall
ps. I kept walking trying to find this house, and this lady pulls up and asks if I need a ride because i'm carrying that "heavy bx." or what looks like a heavy box. I gave her a card because she owned a piano. I figured she was my mothers age roughly so she was harmless. :-)
