Keith, and all, I called Bob Friedman, and I also heard from Isaac. They
both said the same thing, and that is that the piano belonged to the Concert
Division, and that it was probably given, or rented to a school for
performance halls too small to have a D. Then it was sold off. So the next
step is to figure out what those 4 numbers translate to in terms of the age
of the piano.
I will do some more investigation to see if there are more numbers
somewhere else that would indicate the age. Thanks to all who have
contributed!
