Les, I make that part of the initial explanation about what we are dealing with in regard to the piano being below pitch. When I set the appointment, I have already asked them about how long it has been since the last tuning. If it has been longer than a year, I have already told them that it may need a pitch raise and tuning on my first visit. When I get there and check the piano, if the pitch raise needed is significant, I explain to them that it needs to be double-tuned that day and a follow-up tuning scheduled sooner than normal. Usually they understand that the piano will need extra work if they have not had it serviced in a long time and will accept my explanation of what is needed. Would appreciate feedback. Thanks les _____ No virus found in this message.
