Steve Interesting stuff. In my opinion this A-6 with the 5 note bichord transition was the best crossover sound to my ear. The company shoulda stuck with it. I switched the A6 action with the A5 (as it still had the ivory) and all was well. The regulation was almost exactly the same with the switch.
