 This reminds me of an 8 ft 6 Knabe we bellied 10 years ago. similar transition bridge arrangement. It looks like early 1900 ish

Trying to figure out the approximate date of this Chickering.  Someone has

written or stenciled D5833.  I understand the concert instruments had their

own serial numbers (which this is) but I can find no reference to them.

It's certainly not an 1843 piano as the number would otherwise suggest.  Any

ideas as to what the earliest date of this might be?
