Does anyone know the size of tap and die needed for the brass rails? If so please tell me what they are. There seems to be at least two sizes. I have noticed that when replacing butt plates, that the screws supplied by Schaff do not fit some rails. It seems to be a different thread, since they seem to fit for almost a couple of turns. With a die of the proper size they might be made to work. The screws to be purchased are just normal round head. Is there a source for the proper ones? John Ross Windsor, Nova Scotia.
