Sometimes I toss it in too... Jer, that sounds exactly like what I do, and have always done. I am not a heavy worker. I work hard, as the occasion warrants, but then I need time to recoup. Three a day was the most I ever could get through, but day after day at 3 per, I'd lose ground till I was soon too tired to continue. I guess some people just have more stamina than others. I look at the number of tunings a day most people here get through with amazement but also with concern. As I get older, it only gets worse. I decided at one point that if I eased the schedule and allowed more time off and a greater variety of non-piano activities, I'd end up tuning much later in life (and with a LOT more satisfaction!) than if I pressed forward as hard as I could, continually fighting exhaustion. Since I see no young people around here coming into the field, I think I should keep tuning for as many years as I can. Now that I'm settling in okay after my big summer adventure, I feel it may be a great many more years. Susan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
