[pianotech] hinge screws

Hi,Marshall!
Bench hinge screws are normally;Brass #5 or #6,3/4' long.
You can plug the stripped screw hole with Shoemakers Pegs [hard rock  
maple,available from Schaff] and that will be a solid repair.
