Ive copied this to the list for clarity. It seems that I cant tell the difference either so I suppose it doesnt matter. My acid test was to zoom in on the pictures. Some customers who dont see that well any more might need to do that. I zoomed in 6 times without any difference between the two file sizes. Go with whatever seems best to you Chuck. Its all good. I'll be happy to send you the big files, but I don't think that you lose much if you go with the small files either. To show you what I mean, I'm sending a large copy (4097 KB) and a small file (717 KB) of Promo 2. Put them side by side on your screen and see if you can tell a big difference. By the way, looking at the articles, you'll notice that some revisions have been made. If you like the new version, let me know if you want the hi-res version of it (if you can see the difference). Anyway, I've put an (HR) on your folder, and will continue with the big file size for you. A lower resolution picture renders the effort null dont you think? Id prefer the larger files and Ill make them smaller myself if necessary. Seems that most folks have high speed round these parts so the file size is a non- issue. The size of the files at this resolution is in the 500 - 700 KB range. The files I had been sending out, intending for printing, range anywhere from 3000 - 6000 KB. The problem has arisen that not everyone's computer does well in downloading this size of file. One technician contacted me who had tried to send the hammer filing Promo to a customer, and the customer's computer wouldn't open it. Two other technicians couldn't get their own computers to handle the larger size. So, to avoid that type of issue, I'm going to send the smaller files unless I hear from you that you would prefer to still receive the larger file size. If you want to receive both, I'll be glad to do that, but will add $3.00 on to the cost. If there are any other issues that you have using the Promos, please let me know. Thanks all for your encouragement on this project. It's been an experience! Chuck -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
