Get a thick quilted piece of fabric, and put it under the music desk over the whole keypin area. Maybe wrap the far side around a slat so it can sit on the plate and still leave room for the dampers to go up and down. And keep the top closed, and a thick quilt or blanket (washable) on top of the lid. Be sure there isn't a cat-sized opening left bare between the back of the music desk and the front of the lid. They love to creep into confined places, and lie around on the strings and plate while under the lid. Wash both blankets frequently, getting them very dry before putting them back on. After all, as they say, cats are people too. Susan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
