Hey, I have 4X, and for now they are more than adequate. How did I choose? I can't remember, but if it went like most of my decisions, I chose 4X because most folks recommended 2X <G> Instead of the optional LED lights they offer, I screwed an extra LED headlamp to the top for a focused and aimable light. Works for me.
