FWIW, when I rebuilt the action on my Mason & Hamlin I used new hammers, shanks and butts (Asian-type, with the cord). I rebuilt the wippens because I couldn't find a suitable replacement (new felt, leather, bushings, pins and jacks). And yes, it got new jack springs......
