Re: [pianotech] Creaky damper lift tray Subject: Re: [pianotech] Creaky damper lift tray ...had to raise the upstops out of the way , remove the screws that mount the back action to the rear of the action cavity and lift - rotate the whole assembly as much as the damper wires would allow without bending. To allow the back action to come forwards more easily, remove the damper guide rail screws to allow the rails to move forwards as well. -- Regards, Jon Page Good point Jon.
