If you will have the customer change to Linux, that should do the trick. Linux will never scratch or dent the floor. ;-) Don Mannino -----Original Message----- From: pianotech-bounces at ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces at ptg.org] On Behalf Of Duaine Hechler Sent: Saturday, May 15, 2010 4:16 PM To: pianotech at ptg.org Subject: [pianotech] Piano weight and hardwood floors I need an opinion from someone who is well versed in piano weight and hardwood floors. I have an antique player piano and recently installed hardwood floors (real, not manufactured or laminate). Currently we have a piece of the hardwood flooring under the front and back casters on each side, and need to know what I can put under the casters to NOT dent the floor.
