[pianotech] Piano brand

Hi Jack,

Thanks for the information. The only discrepancy might be that this
particular piano appears to be only "about" 20-25 years old though and is
typical of a Chinese or Korean appearance and quality. Could this still
fit the bill on that?

Hello Gerald,

In 1909 there was a Ackerman Piano Co. at 122 E. 25th St.

New.York City.

Edwin Ackerman as President. At some time a Mr. Lowe joined the

 firm apparently as a Partner,

In 1926 The Jessie French Co. had bought the Co.

In 1948--49 Jack Fedderson an Official with Jessie French told me

that J. French was at one time one of the most aggressive Co's in

the Business.

It stands to reason that J. French would sell pianos and put that

decal on it. But I have no evidence of this.

Regards

Jack Wyatt
