If you think they are going to survive, you should deal with it and in time you will be paid.   Small claims will be the end of that business.   In the future, if all works out and you haven't made any enemies... '-]   Bite that tongue...you should be working to have your name in the credits of the program.   You want to get referrals...
Hopefully, you aren't planning to live off that money...think long term...you can use their name in your advertising...

But if it is a hopeless case...your call.
