[pianotech] Rodent Piano - Refuse to Service?

Here in New Mexico, some rural areas have mice that carry hantavirus,  
also known as Black Plague.  Check with your local university  
extension office for your area.

My chapter in Minnesota (MN to NM!) checked with the Centers for  
Disease Control, and 48 hours after live mice leave, the virus should  
be dead (thanks, Paul Chick Sr.!).  The recommendation is to wear an  
N95 mask, and spray everything down with a mild bleach solution before  
vacuuming.  And open up the piano first to get them critters out.

The weird hazards of piano tuning... By the way, did you know you need  
a tetanus booster shot every ten years?  Ask your doctor.
