I have just reserved a week at the Palace Station Hotel, which is about a mile from the convention hotel, for about $400 less than what Bally's will be. With the savings, I am renting a car for $200, and still come out ahead. Both places offer free parking. Luckily the window of this room could be opened for some relief but it still gave us sore throats and headaches. To top it off we had a dispute at checkout with the rate we were charged. That took at least half an hour to get corrected.
