Gregor said: "Take a damp cloth and lay it on the soundboard on the left side of the grand. Work it forward with a flexible steel or plastic, e.g. a ruler. So you get the cloth under the strings and push it with the ruler. You have to place the ruler between the strings to move the cloth forward.
