Will,

So you ream them, but don't polish w/ Q-tip as per PRJ's method?

I knew it, I JUST knew it. You were there lurking in the dark, waiting for an opportunity to pounce, weren’t you, Dr. Evil? J “Port and Polish”? Bet you paint them Candy Apple Red, too!

Since you insist, I am going to share a trade secret with you that I normally charge hundreds of thousands of dollars for. For you, a mere ten thousand dollars. I expect the check by early next week. My vacation this year depends on it, so don’t be late.

I ream them out with a whatchamacallit that has a curved taper to dress the edges of the aggraffe holes.

If you want me to go to the shop and look up the name of the reamer on the box, that’ll be an extra 10k, buster!

Will - you don't "rebuild" or "recondition" or replace aggrafes? And I guess I should say, even if you replace, the new ones should be shaped properly.

I find that I spend a goodly number of hours "portiing and polishing" new aggrafes to get the proper contour - and old aggrafes, (Although, I almost always replace them).

Sounds like the best system to me. Heat shrink is on my shopping list also.

Now tell me how to deal with the agraffes when they are not being replaced.
